Can a later diagnosis of hip dysplasia or other hip issues in a cat still be maintained?
My cat is about 7 years old, she was a stray so I have no knowledge of her genetic background, and recently I noticed her walking weird and today she was almost limping. I don't have a video but I saw videos of cats with hip dysplasia and they are almost identical to the way she is walking though i dont yet have a vet diagnosis. My question is, if she does have something like hip dysplasia, even though shes already 7 can the hip issues still be maintained and her live comfortably? She used to be around 15 pounds but had a uti around 3 years back and lost weight, she has since maintained this weight(maybe around 9-12 pounds).
