Hey so I am a FTM, i’m 21 and have been a stay at home mom for over a year now. So grateful i didn’t have to work, but recently was considering what i would do if i got a job. I am pretty young so i eventually would like to work, honestly more for the social aspect than the actual money. I have considered starting off with a half day at daycare, enough for me to have a part-time job where i work maybe 20 hours a week. The only concern i have had is that my child is very attached to me. I have not ever gotten a baby sitter for him. Family has only watched him for an hour at most. So part of me fears that it would be too much on him. My baby is getting older and smarter, so i think daycare would really be better for him. They are educators so he will have more focus on him and the regular Pre-K prep material. The questions i have are would it even be worth it? I know daycare would cost most of my small part-time check. The other question is do kids normally adjust easily at 14 months to daycare? Or should I wait closer to 2 years?
