I’m trying to move toward lower tox beauty products where I can, but my gray roots are coming in fast lately and I still want decent coverage. I’ve tried a couple supposedly gentler brown dyes and either the color faded weirdly or my grays were still visible after a few washes. I really need honest recommendations for something that feels a little cleaner ingredient-wise but still gives natural looking results.

I only have grays around my part line and hairline, but they stand out SO much lately. Every dye I’ve tried either pulls orange, fades weirdly, or makes my roots look way darker than the rest of my hair. I’m honestly just looking for something low maintenance that looks natural in daylight and doesn’t make it obvious I dyed my hair at home lol. What’s been the best one you’ve personally tried?
