Hello everybody I’m 21 M who recently had an adult circumcision surgery two weeks ago I could not tell you if I also had a frenulomplastic or whatever it’s called. But day 1 post op I was told to remove my bandage per my surgeons guide and when I took off my bandage I think I did it too roughly as it cause me to bleed from my stitches heavily for hours on end. This made me end up going to the er which was where the er doctor said that one of my stitches was loose and that I might of caused friction when I took my bandage off roughly instead of doing it slowly in the shower after those hours of bleeding the er doctor said I clotted myself after losing 1 cup of blood and the bleeding had finally stopped.
That was just the worst part of my journey so far other then that I’ve been able to have my tip out with mild discomfort for the first few days till I finally got used to the sensation of always having my tip out. By week 1 all bleeding and spotting stopped. As I am on week 2 now of my healing process I’ve noticed my stitches poking out which isn’t a concern because I have dissolvable ones but the underwear’s I’ve been wearing over the few days have been snagging the stitches and ripping off some scabs that I had from my heavy bleeding there is no issue of it still bleeding and the holes of the stitching lines look closed so it is not a major worry I believe.
I just wanted to share my journey so far. As for people reading this who might be horrified I’m completely fine now other then the one hiccup that I experienced which made my penis look like it was “stung by a bee” but the swelling has mostly gone down by now, this should not put you off deciding to under go an adult circumcision whether deciding to under go one or not such as myself, I’m honestly glad I did it and hope someone can find comfort in my story who is maybe experiencing the same issues I had.
