Denon Marantz Remote App

I built a simple iPhone remote app for Denon and Marantz AVRs because I was frustrated with the official app.

I wanted something that opens quickly and puts the controls I actually use right in front of me — a big power button, volume knob, mute, Quick Selects and display of sound modes.

What started as something I made for myself has turned into a real little project and I ended up taking a different approach to the look and feel, trying to make it feel more like a piece of audio equipment than a typical utility app. Other Denon and Marantz owners have started using it too.

The current version controls the main zone but I'm working on an improved multi zone version.
