I came into possession of these lace wedding separates. I already have a ceremony dress that I absolutely love. I am considering redesigning this one to wear during the reception.

However, I think the skirt is too long and too tight. (wedding is outside on a ranch in the country). I am wondering if anyone has suggestions on patterns or silhouettes that would work with this truly beautiful lace. I will probably keep the top as is -- I realized it is supposed to be off the shoulder. Thanks in advance for any ideas. The skirt itself is cut in panels and there appears to be a bustle.

There is a good tailor in town and I might consult her, but thought I would crowd source this one. This might be a ridiculous idea - if so, please let me know.
