WIBTAH if I smashed the plastic lock box off the thermostat?
For context; I had a bit of a disagreement with my bf about the thermostat. And one of my comments he took as me calling him fat, which I absolutely did not.
I quite literally said “I’m sorry I’m not bigger, so I get cold super easy” because I’m a very petite person and get cold easily.
I wear layers and a housecoat. I also add a blanket if I’m any colder…we had our disagreement approx 12 hours ago. It was because I forgot to turn the furnace back down to 15 before I went to bed.
We had our words; and I thought it was over.
Boy was I wrong.
Tonight, upon getting ready for bed and shutting everything down….I found the thermostat is now in a locked plastic box on the way.
I don’t usually forget to turn it down, but the one night I forget and make a comment about being petite; a lock box is put on the thermostat.
So WIBTAH if I smashed it off tomorrow during the day?
I find it extremely disrespectful this was done without talking to me, basically behind my back and now I have no access to the thermostat at all.
I’ll also add; this is the first and only time he’s shown this type of controlling behaviour and I don’t find it acceptable in any way.
