Helped out an old man with some garden stuff and he gave me some cash and this big ol' paperweight. For a while now I wanted to build a plastic shredder by r/PreciousPlastic so I gladly accepted it. Now that I have this I need to figure out of it's in working order and how to connect and drive it properly, the factory tag on it is completely busted so I'm not sure how to go about that safely. The shaft is spinning freely and nothing seems to be seized, haven't checked out the graphite brushes yet so that's probably next. I'd appreciate any input in regards to how I might id this model and get some documentation for it along with info on how to check for any problems with the windings.
