A little appreciation for Sakai
I am on my 3rd rewatch of the show and I really started to like Sakai as a character. She obviously has a very minor appearance in the grand scheme but an important one nevertheless. She was annoying to me in the first watch and I obviously rooted for Fred and Holden but this time I saw things from a different angle.
For such a brief role the actress absolutely smashed the role. The appearance, the cheekiness, the jargon and accent were just perfect. The "Too bad, so sad" quote is actually one of the several I remember off the top of my head every time I think of The Expanse.
When she got interrogated by Bull and Holden her monologue was so well acted I actually agreed she had a point from a Belter perspective. I wish we could have seen more of her. What do you think?
