Wife Wants Out
My wife (28 F) recently told me she wants separation and space and ultimately a divorce. There has been no cheating, abuse, or addiction in our marriage — mostly years of built-up resentment, emotional distance, poor communication, and hurt that we never fully dealt with.
I still love her deeply and I genuinely want reconciliation. I’ve been praying constantly for our marriage and trying to become a better husband and person overall. At the same time, I know I can’t force someone to reconnect if their heart is checked out right now.
For those of you who have gone through separation:

- Did reconciliation ever happen after one spouse emotionally checked out?
I’m staying grounded in faith, improve myself physically, mentally, and spiritually, and trust God through all of this. I would appreciate honest advice, wisdom, and prayers.
