Would you use an app to watch local videos/movies together remotely?

I’ve been working on an Android app called SideBySide – Watch Together, designed to let two people watch local videos or movies together remotely with synchronized playback.

Here’s a quick demo of how it works 👇

Current features:
- Create a watch room
- Share a room link
- Join from the Android app or a web browser
- Live synchronized playback
- Emoji reactions
- Automatic reconnection if someone disconnects

I’m continuously improving the app and would genuinely appreciate your feedback.

Would you use an app like this? If so, what feature would make it a must-have for you?

If you’d like to try it, you can search for “SideBySide – Watch Together” on the Google Play Store.

Give it a try

I've been building an Android app that lets two people watch a local video together remotely in sync.

Current features:

* Create a room
* Share a link
* Join from the app or browser
* Live synchronized playback
* Emoji reactions
* Reconnect if someone disconnects

I'm still improving it before the first release.

Would you actually use something like this? If yes, what feature would make it a must-have for you?
