Why does everyone swear by motorcraft filters?

Why does everyone swear by motorcraft filters?

Just recently got a new to me 6.0, coming up in my first oil change and I see a bunch of people saying that you shouldn’t use anything but motorcraft oil and fuel filters. Was just wondering if it was just people talking or if there was any truth to it? Pic for attention

Anyone regret swapping to a non vgt on their 6.0?

I want a non vgt ive been looking at the smedding drop in because it comes with custom tunes. I know vgt is better for towing but I never tow anywhere near my limit I tow maybe 5-7k MAX. If anyone’s done it I’d love to hear what you have to say

New to me 6.0

Bought my fiancés grandfathers truck (upgraded cause my idi couldn’t get out of its own way) cause he couldn’t get the 4wd working (it was a relay) and he was irritated with it so he sold it to me for 6k I feel a bit bad cause he didn’t know what he had…2006 6.0 but it’s got a built motor and transmission which i later figured out after buying. Anyways just kind wanted to show it off cause I’m proud of it (not squated just have some stuff in the bed)

I’m being told this sounds normal

Anytime I let off of the aux input the thing sounds like it’s grinding. This is the first time Ive worked on a brush cutter, all the guys in the shop say it’s normal but being the nature of the shop I’m in I don’t nessecarilly trust them. Any help would be appreciated thanks
