>Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc. (MMNA) is recalling certain 2018-2022 Outlander PHEV and 2014-2020 Outlander vehicles. The liftgate gas spring cylinders may corrode and lose pressure, which can result in a gas spring cylinder rupture or the liftgate falling unexpectedly.

>Remedy

>MMNA will replace the left and right liftgate gas springs, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed June 17, 2026. Owners may contact MMNA customer service at 1-888-648-7820. MMNA's number for this recall is SR-26-001. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will be searchable on NHTSA.gov June 3, 2026. This recall expands previous NHTSA recall number 25V507.

Just recently got a new to me 6.0, coming up in my first oil change and I see a bunch of people saying that you shouldn’t use anything but motorcraft oil and fuel filters. Was just wondering if it was just people talking or if there was any truth to it? Pic for attention

1996 F-250 7.3 Power Stroke 🤘
Finally joined the diesel world and picked this thing up. I’m new to the 7.3 platform, so I’d love to hear from the guys who know these OBS trucks.What should I check first? What preventative maintenance is worth doing? Any little tips or tricks that make owning an old 7.3 easier? And what upgrades are actually worth the money versus stuff I should stay away from?Planning on learning as much as I can and keeping this old Ford going.

I recently posted here in regards to a 1990 e350 ambulance I bought with the 7.3 idi in it. I finally managed to get TPS to output .883V (i know its not 1.2 but its better than the .22mv I had before). I found there was no power to the relay so I fixed that and tried driving it the OD light finally turned off for the first time ever! Im having the same transmission issues though. I did however find in the input to the transmission (the liht grey connector) it was full of old dirty ATF fluid like full to the brim. My question is could this cause my shifting issues? Thanks in advance! (P.S I have already found were the fluid came from and fixed it, it was a leak dripping down the wiring)

2023+ CCV filter (used to have the SPE recirculation box, but the O-rings failed and started leaking oil)

LubeLocker front/rear diff gaskets

It’s a late model 99 7.3 was running fine last night and went to start this morning and have this issue. Checked ICP and it has oil in the plug, unplugged it and didn’t fix it. Getting codes P1280,P1000, and P1316?

Did a KOEO injector test and #2 injector came back.

Edit: changed fuel filter housing and drivers side fuel line to head. Did an oil change as well. Prior to its current condition.

When turning full lock, I get some bad rubbing with these newer rims. Has anybody corrected this with spacers? I’ve read that 2” spacers fix the rubbing. Anybody else run into this?
