My original axle on the trucks hub bearings got destroyed and ruined the spindle. I got this axle for 250 bucks on Facebook and after getting it installed, I noticed that the pinion bearing was messed up. Which probably led to the scoring on the carrier when I was driving at home if it wasn’t already there, I have a master overhaul kit coming because I didn’t realize how bad it was at first I see someone on Facebook selling a locker for 500 I was thinking to get in there in a new ring and pinion and having it rebuilt I also have my old axle with all the gears and carrier in it. That should be fine, but I don’t know if I’ll be able to get the axle shaft out of it enough to take all of that stuff out just wondering what I should do is this something I’m gonna have to take to a shop can I trust a mobile mechanic to do this?
