Lazeo Belgium bankruptcy — prepaid laser packages lost? Anyone else affected?

Hi everyone,

I discovered through Reddit Brussels that the laser clinic chain Lazeo (which had more than 14 locations across Belgium) has apparently gone bankrupt and suddenly closed all of its clinics.

A lot of people, including myself, are now left in a difficult situation because we prepaid expensive laser hair removal packages worth hundreds or even thousands of euros.

In my case, I only completed 4 out of 10 sessions and I still have around €1200 worth of treatments unused (each session costs around €200).

The company posted on Instagram saying that a lawyer/liquidator has been appointed and that clients should contact this person regarding the bankruptcy procedure.

Does anyone know how this works in Belgium in practice?
- Is there any realistic chance of recovering part of the money?
- Should we all individually contact the lawyer/liquidator?
- Would it make sense to organize some sort of collective action / class action with other affected clients?

I imagine there are many people in the same situation, so any legal advice or shared experiences would really help.

Hi everyone,

I’m trying to get clearer information about the strike planned on May 12th in Brussels.

I have a work trip that morning, flying from Brussels Airport (Zaventem) to Barcelona with Ryanair, and I’m a bit unsure how to plan.

Does anyone know how and when airlines usually confirm which flights will be cancelled during strikes like this? I’m trying to understand how early I can realistically expect an update, and whether I should already start looking for alternative options.

Also, if anyone has experience with previous strikes at the airport, how reliable are the early morning flights in these situations?

I’m considering backup options (booking a second flight on monday night), but I’d like to understand first how likely cancellations are.

Thanks a lot for any help!

Hi everyone,

I’m planning a trip this summer to Fuerteventura and Lanzarote and had a few practical questions, would really appreciate any advice or experiences.

  1. Flights / itinerary: does it make sense to fly into Fuerteventura and then fly back from Lanzarote? I’m based in Brussels, so I’m trying to understand which airports are better connected and whether an open-jaw trip like this is a good idea.
  2. Inter-island connections: how easy is it to move between the two islands? How frequent are the ferries, and from where to where do they typically run?
  3. Transport: what would you recommend regarding car rental?
  • renting a car on one island and taking it to the other (I assume ferry costs might make this expensive?)
  • renting separately on each island
  • or are there any companies that allow a single rental across both islands?
  1. Time allocation: we’ll have a maximum of 10 days. We like to see a lot and move at a relatively fast pace. How would you split the time between Fuerteventura and Lanzarote?

Thanks in advance, any tips are welcome 🙂
