I typically drink Blancos and the occasional Repo, but I wanted to try some Añejos to see what I was missing. I got the full line of Siete Leguas to compare the different expressions, and I like all but the Añejo. Every time I sip it, I just think "this isn't what I want my tequila to taste like." However, I like to be thorough with my experiments, so I would like to try one more Añejo from a different brand before I give up on them entirely (until I get the itch to experiment again in a couple years, haha).
So, what brand would you recommend that does an Añejo really well?
Almost any brand is on the table because I will have to get it online; the only good tequila I can get locally is the Blanco from Tequila Ocho. For reference, some of my favorite Blancos currently are Arette, Don Fulano, El Tesoro, Siete Leguas, and Valor. I am not a big fan of G4, and Ocho is just ok.
