Ok i used to play the game a lot in high school but now that I'm in college, I've played it a lot less to not at all. I wanted to get back in the game and play ranked, play new characters too. I knew I wasnt going to be the same rank but I'm so much lower than I thought. I think I played pretty well in my recent games as well. Am I washed or do i just need to "grind"?

I feel like I played pretty well in my games, is it just because the lobbies are low rank or is it that thing where riot makes ur rank 3 ranks lower than what it thinks u are?
