Advice to dress up alt everyday
So for context, i used to dress very "alt" in the past. I did very cool makeup, coordinated outfits that looked at least vaguely alt, etc etc. The issue is that i looked super fem so i stopped because of dysphoria. Now i think I've found my style, but I've lost all my motivation to dress up. All the advice i find to dress up daily is very focused on basic/formal clothes that don't fit my style, so i decided to ask on here.
I'd like to start putting an effort on my looks again and go back to my alt style, but i think i've lost the courage to do it? and i think I've also grown to be very lazy about my looks? I wonder how i should approach this, maybe accesorizing my usual outfits until i feel more comfortable to dress crazier(?), but idk. I wanna thrift some new stuff but my issue is that even with a closet full of clothes i always wear the same boring basic shit lol anyone here has had this problem before?
Btw when i say alt, i know it's a vague umbrella term, honestly i dont care about outfit or style advice since i think i already know what my style is and i own everything i want to or know what i want to thrift and diy, i guess what im asking for is advice to start actually wearing this style effortlessly again
