Hoping someone can help me out...helicopter noise
I installed new speakers, sub, and 2 amps a few weeks back, using a cheap recoil LOC, but there was wicked engine noise in the speakers. Checked, and even found a new ground spot, wasn't the issue, so I ordered a different recoil LOC, this one with input gain control. Engine noise disappeared, everything sounded great. A couple weeks later, driving down the road, the music just cut out and a helicopter noise was the only thing making any sound. I figured the second LOC had crapped out, so I ordered 2 Kicker Keylocs and installed them. As soon as I hooked the battery up, car still OFF, the helicopter noise started and one of the amps started smoking! Quickly disconnected everything and here we are. I'm at a complete loss as to what happened.
2020 Nissan Titan
Amps - Recoil 4 ch and recoil 5 ch both powered with 4awg
Factory head unit
Sub - Kicker L7T
Any help would be greatly appreciated. TIA
