"do you plan on participating in this activity in college"

I might be reading into this question too much, but is this question asking about the activity in general, or the exact activity you did? so like for example im on the swim team at my school. i hope that ill be able to swim in my free time in college, so I should answer yes right? But on the other hand, im not gonna be doing swim team in college bc its my high schools team, so I'd put no. for NHS too - Im not gonna be in NHS in college but id still be open to tutoring ppl. so how would i answer these questions?

is the question asking more if you'd like to do a similar type of activity in college? or the literal exact same activity

thank you mb if this is a dumb question

"show, not tell" while also being reflective?

This might be a dumb question but how do I "show, not tell" while also being reflective? I feel like I'm not understanding something because they seem kinda contradictory, but everyone says your essay should have both.

I've written a few different versions of my personal statement. On one, I focused on showing, and not telling, but I feel like that made me not give that much reflection. In my other one, I tried being more reflective, but that just felt like I was telling, not showing. Or do you have to find some sort of balance between them? thanks

Taking a fourth year of language

Hi, Im a junior and this year I completed the highest level of my language that my high school offers. I sorta have the option to take this language at a nearby college during senior year, but it would be rly hard to fit in my schedule, im not even sure if it will be possible. im also trying to major in this language in college and am planning on applying with it, so do u guys have any advice on whether I should take a college class? Any ideas on what colleges might think if I do/don't? im guessing they prefer taking 4 years of language (lmk if im wrong), but does that still hold even if you completed the course at your high school? thank you
