A majority of the world's population is on the side of Denmark and Greenland when it comes to the conflict with the USA over the island.
This is evident from a new major survey – Democracy Perception Index – prepared by Nira Data and the organization Alliance of Democracies, writes Berlingske.
Here, a good 94,000 respondents from 98 different countries were asked about five different conflicts, including the conflict over Greenland.
In 85 countries, a majority mostly agrees with Greenland and Denmark, while the camps in 11 countries are so evenly distributed that it falls within the statistical uncertainty.
Only in two countries is a majority on the side of the USA: Israel and the Dominican Republic.
