There was an option to "Restore Original" clips, but their automated discord support bot is saying that it has been removed and that I had to "Save" or "Save as Copy" when trimming the clips. I didn't know about this and I lost a few clips as I've always just been clicking "Save" because you were able to restore them later even after uploading. They also keep adding this extra step to every action it's super annoying e.g., posting clips it used to be one click but now it's a 2 step process where you click "Post" with the globe icon and then another different UI pops up and you have to click "Post" again. Sorry if I'm wrong but I swear it used to be one click... am I stupid? Why can't all of these options just be configurable inside the settings like it used to be?
They also tried to make clips expire automatically after 14 days on new accounts with no option to change the default visibility and it was either always Public or the temporary "Create Link" thing if you wanted the clips to default to being unlisted, where as on my older account you were able to select between Unlisted and Public and they would automatically be uploaded with that option permanently. I think it's reverted now though?
I honestly haven't really paying attention too much lately about all the changes and I sort of forgot about how it used to be since it was a long time ago. I just forced myself to accept the changes and tried to deal with it, but it definitely felt more simple back then and this has been on my mind for a little bit. They really cannot decide what kind of UI it wants because they keep changing things around. Everything is just so confusing to me.
