Analysis Formation 3-6-1 (All Playstyle)
Hi guys, today I’m going to give an analysis of this 3-6-1 formation with 2 AMFs and a 3 at-the-back setup.
This is one of the best formations to use in PvP because :
It creates a very dynamic attacking structure while still maintaining control of important areas on the pitch.
The formation allows quick combinations in midfield, strong presence between the lines, and multiple attacking options during transitions.
With the right player roles and positioning, this setup can overwhelm opponents through constant movement, wide support, and aggressive attacking patterns while still keeping defensive stability through the double pivot and deep defensive coverage.
In defensive area your sideback cb must have a good acc and good speed to help u defend the flank area and catch fast attacker so this is why i put gerard martin and kounde bcs they have a great defending stats and strong recovery pace. For central CB Role i prefer build up with strong physicality and tall profile (Saliba, Van Dijk, Dean Huijsen) suit this role to maintain and help u in aerial battle
In the midfield area, an Anchor Man + Box-to-Box combination is one of the best setups to control the center of the pitch while maintaining both attacking support and defensive stability. This area is the key to the entire formation because balance is extremely important here.
The Anchor Man (with deepline instruction) stays deeper to protect the defense, cover spaces during transitions, and stop counter attacks, while the Box-to-Box midfielder constantly supports both attack and defense by helping forward and tracking back quickly when possession is lost.
In the wide areas, the roles are also very important to maintain the team’s balance and attacking flow. Lamine Yamal plays a much more aggressive role, staying high and attacking directly to create danger through dribbling, pace, and quick combinations. Because of this, the right side becomes the main attacking side of the formation.
On the other side, Dimarco plays a more balanced role. He still supports the attack, but he also helps maintain structure and width, making the left side more stable during transitions.
For the two AMFs, using a Hole Player and a Creative Playmaker creates a very dynamic attacking combination. The Hole Player constantly makes forward runs into open spaces and supports the striker aggressively, while the Creative Playmaker focuses more on controlling the tempo, creating chances, and linking the midfield with the attack.
In striker position i put dembele bcs he have the stats that i need : strong dribble + good pass + can shoot with booth feet so it helps me when i want to score with him without worry in his weakfoot.
This combination gives the formation:
Attacking movement
Balanced support on both sides
Better control during transitions
That’s why this setup works very well in PvP, especially for players who want dynamic attacks without completely sacrificing defensive stability.
