In yesterday's session, the party successfully won a battle against an evil witch who was trying to take control of the fungril network. Effectively, she would've become as an archfey and create a Fey Court of Spores. But, the party stopped her and she turned into a thorny, cursed tree.
Now, here's where it gets interesting: a player broke off a branch, grinded it down and smoked it. The tree is still somewhat magical and holds some of her essence, so what would/could happen to him now? Or rather, as a GM, what would you do in this instance? Any cool advantages with crazy drawbacks or something like that?
Next session is our finale and I promised them to ask on here, because we're all still kinda new to DH and I wanna properly reward this fun style of play.
