Better way to understand museum tours in Vietnam for non-native speakers?

I'm visiting Vietnam next month and really want to do the War Remnants Museum and some city walking tours. My English is okay but sometimes I struggle with fast speech or strong accents in noisy groups. Has anyone tried using real-time translation apps with earbuds to follow the guide better? Does it work well or are there better ways to make sure I don't miss the history? Thanks!

How to better understand/hear tour guides in noisy museum or outdoor walking tours?

I'm going on a big trip soon and I've always struggled with hearing the tour guides clearly, especially in echoey museums or busy outdoor areas. Sometimes their accent is also a bit hard to follow. Are there any apps or tech hacks that can help with this? I was thinking about using some kind of real-time voice translation or hearing aid-style app with my AirPods. Any recommendations?
