Top-down philosophy for VFR in European uncontrolled airports

Hi, I am totally new to VATSIM and have tried starting a flight a couple of times but always aborted because I was unsure about how to behave in my scenario:

Say I want to fly VFR from an uncontrolled airport in Europe. In real life I would request taxi/departure information from ZZZZ radio. Then I would switch over to the respective information channel.

If center covering that area is online, do I contact center for uncontrolled airports? Or is that strictly Unicom?
In either case: Do I contact information with a position report like in real life? Ex: CALLSIGN, VFR flight from ZZZZ to ZZZZ, overhead XYZ, 5000’, for traffic information

And a bonus question: How about military airports that allow civilian traffic but are controlled despite being very small (LOXN as the largest grass field in Europe comes to mind)

EQE sees an inexistent car and randomly brakes on the highway- Mercedes claims that is what EQEs do. Where to go from here?

This is a question mostly relating to European consumer rights as the car is bought and registered in Central Europe.

I am the happy owner of a Mercedes EQE 350+ 4matic. Good car, but since delivery it has been having one peculiar problem: In the "Assistance" screen it randomly sees a car that does not exist in reality. Due to it not being allowed to overtake on the right, it then gradually slows down, since the car on the left does not really exist it slows down with me creating a feedback loop. Car has been in the shop for a total of 3 months now! Today I got the call that Mercedes just reported back that this is a thing that happens in all EQEs and EQE SUVs. So no need to fix apparently?

I am mildly upset, because due to that "ghost car" I cannot use the lane change assist, the ACC and it generally is a hazard when using CC.

My questions:

Is this really a thing for all EQEs? I cannot imagine that...

What are next steps I could take?
