We're less than a month from releasing our witchy cottage builder/exploration game, REKA, on Steam and we've launched our demo too!

our demo was last live two years ago and since then we've made heaps of improvements, and it's playable on steam deck too.

Set in autumn (the best season!) REKA will have you playing as an apprentice witch to the legendary Baba Jaga (we love folklore), and you'll live your witchy life in the gorgeous woodlands where you can build your own chicken-legged hut.

Today we were able to announce the new Steam 1.0 date for our witch game, REKA. we realized we needed a bit more time for bug fixing and polishes, and we wanted to make sure players could fully immerse themselves in our autumnal world.

after receiving loads of feedback from our last playtest, we now have a new date: 26th October! although a delay was never the ideal outcome, we feel launching closer to Halloween suits our game a bit more 🎃

For anybody who hasn't heard of REKA before: REKA is a cozy, relaxing (and sometimes a little eerie) exploration house builder game where you design, construct, and decorate your own chicken-legged cottage! based on Slavic folklore, you shadow the legendary Baba Jaga as you adventure through the woodlands, befriending animals, helping villagers, and cooking delicious foods.
