I (M31) have severely messed up and hurt my wife (F32).

I neglected to tell her the real reason why I got suspended and eventually quit my job. This was over 6 months ago and she recently found out about it.

She left for a bit and recently came to have a conversation with me recently. I explained how I hurt her and that I didn't mean for it to happen. That what I did was selfish and stupid.

She said that this was all too late and I should have told her 6 months ago. There was no mention of the word 'divorce' but I feel that this might be the option she is going for.

I'm hoping given a bit more time and me working on myself mentally will be able get back together.

As the title says is there another way or is it over for good?
