Whenever someone asks me why I don’t want to have children, in order to avoid annoying follow up questions or convincing attempts, I bluntly say I fucking hate children. This leaves them shocked, it sounds so unhinged that they all refrain from further questioning or change the subject awkwardly. It is true though. I hate their presence. Does anyone else simply hate children?
