Is there anybody that's been in construction for a long time that would have advice on big mistakes that cost them time or money that they wish they knew sooner? Things like always having a signed quote or change order before doing any work. Things like this that would be helpful for some of us to know that are just starting off our careers?
I have been working as an electrician for a few years and don’t love the person I work for. Is it worth it to start my own electrical company?
I swear the customer disputes me on price or scope of project almost every time. Is this a me issue or do you guys get this too?
I am curious others opinions on this. I have always loved working with my hands and not at a desk all day, but I feel it even way more with all this Ai stuff. With all the jobs its going to replace I feel like the trades are the safest place to be right now. Do you think the market is going to start to getting more flooded then it already is as people catch on to this?
