Or are my wife and I wasting our time?

Recently stated playing legends mode with my wife. Got through the story missions on lower difficulty easy enough but the survival mode seems impossible.

There are only the 2 of us and I know it’s more built with a team of 4 in mind but we’re not even getting close to beating it.

Is it possible for 2 of us to beat this or we wasting our time. We’ve both beaten the story mode but my wife isn’t amazing at the legends mode.

I’m just trying to pay my bills I’m not looking for a career, or to climb the company ladder, or to have major responsibilities for anything.

Are there any jobs where you just show up and work your assigned hours and can go home and not think about your job when you’re not there and not be hassled by managers all day?
