Corporate world

I know the job market is brutal, but I’m really having a hard time even getting to an interview stage with nannying mainly on my resume. I’ve tailored it multiple times to make it sound more professional, but I just think alot of companies don’t take nannying seriously as a profession. I’m a new grad so I do also have a degree, and some customer service positions from high school, but it seems like nannying is really working against me for job applications, has anyone who transitioned from nannying into a more corporate profession, have any tips it would be greatly appreciated!

Nap time

Does anyone else get more tired after nap time, I usually only have 1-2 hours left after NK gets up from their nap, I swear I’m usually more tired after sitting and getting a break. 😭

It’s a rainy dreary day, and I am so exhausted, does anyone else find it so tiring just talking and trying to stay engaged with NK. Especially days like today I just want to curl up on the couch, I have no energy to give today. 😭

One thing I truly dislike about some parents is their constant need to say “wait until you have kids”. This has happened with pretty much every family I work for and even personal life where they have kids and I don’t. Example: I rarely ever say I’m tired to NP but was dragging the one day and their first response is we’ll just wait until you have kids. Or I’ll say I feel so busy this weekend and it’s just wait until you have kids you have so much free time now. As if people without kids don’t also have responsibilities every single day as well. Also I know I do not want kids so it’s also just annoying in that sense that I’ll hear it, and will never be able to relate!! Just a small rant 😅
