Hi guys,

I’m an incoming fy1 who’s been utterly shafted with both locations and jobs for my foundation years. I was hoping to get an ED job so I could ED locum for fy3 to work on portfolio/consider training for ED job - as you can probably tell by now, I DIDN’T get a single post in ED.

What does this mean for my post foundation career? I’ve been told I can’t do locum in ED if I’ve not had a job in it before - is this true? And how easy will it be to pursue ED training if I haven’t done a job here.
