ThinkPad T14s Gen 1 for a few days, and I keep getting this message: “Configuration changed – Restart the system

I’ve been using a Lenovo ThinkPad T14s Gen 1 for a few days, and I keep getting this message: “Configuration changed – Restart the system”, which sends me directly to the BIOS, but only when Windows restarts after an update.

However, when I completely shut down the laptop and turn it back on, it boots straight into Windows without any issue.

Of course, I already:

  • updated the BIOS twice,
  • removed the SSD,
  • performed a clean installation of Windows.
