I’m currently 30 weeks pregnant and have been seeing midwifes at Beverly hospital (Essex obgyn midwife group) and the experience has been great so far. I hired a doula and she said she prefers her clients deliver at Anna Jaques over Beverly especially since Im hoping to labor in water (trying for an unmedicated natural birth if possible) and that Beverly hospital lacks availability for the tubs if you want one. I also saw that Anna Jaques has the lowest c-section rate as well… I’m touring both of the birth centers soon so I can make my final decision. Has anyone given birth at Anna Jaques or Beverly hospital as unmedicated and felt supported throughout the process? curious to hear everyone’s experiences at both of these hospital.
