48 hours to turn a London business trip into a Mallorca weekend. Full breakdown.

Just wrapped up a crazy 6 day split. 2 days of corporate meetings in London followed by 4 days in Mallorca. Transitioning from a freezing office to the beach in one bag was a feat, but I made it.

Route: London (2 days) to Palma de Mallorca (4 days)

Budget breakdown:

Flights (Multi city NYC-LHR-PMI-NYC): $1,050 (May prices are peaking)

Accommodation: $1,180 (Central London boutique hotels are easily £200+/night right now)

Food: $480 (London dining is expensive, Mallorca is better value)

Transport: $110 (Heathrow Express + Palma taxis)

What I packed:

Theory tailored blazer, 2 everlane slacks, 2 silk camis

3 reformation linen dresses, hunza G swimwear

Gucci loafers + veja sneakers

MacBook, Kindle, and a small travel steamer

Used level 8's carry on for packing all of it.

Unpopular Opinion:

London’s aesthetic pubs are usually a tourist trap. Find the dingiest looking corner pub with no Instagram following if you actually want a good pint and a conversation that isn't shouted over a DJ.

I recently watched Tempted and I really enjoyed it. Its such a nice drama and I get why people love it so much. Probably, adding it to my rewatch list haha.

But honestly, the three chaebol heirs, especially Choi sooji made me think of them as absolute aholes. The girl gave me so much frustration. And so I really felt like it makes her the best example of "you're not wrong, you're just an ahole. So, I was wandering which other characters are there who made you think like this? Plus, no hate to the actress. Moon Gayoung is such a pretty girl and a great actress.
