Why do these marigolds look so sad?

I am growing lots of marigolds this year but two plants in particular are growing sad looking flowers, even tho the ones immediately beside them look great! Any suggestions for cause? I believe they came from the same seed pack.

Eager to harvest but worried I am too early.

Hi all, I am growing flowers to dry for my late October wedding. I'm excited to see all the colour in my garden but am trying to make sure I harvest at the right time. I'm getting *tons* oof winged everlasting but nothing else has been harvested yet. Any advice on the gomphrena, celosia and statice pictured?

When to harvest for dried bouquets

I am growing my own flowers for my wedding at the end of October and will be drying flowers through the summer to prepare for it. My strawflowers have started blooming but they are still quite short and have buds at different stages. The pink one in the photo I feel like I could harvest now but I am afraid cutting it at a length that feels appropriate for bouquets will keep the plant so short only get short flowers from it (it's only about a foot tall). The sunset coloured one gives me similar concerns. I think I hadn't cut these two plants back earlier because I have a few others that are growing nice long stems. Should I harvest these with short stems for boutonnieres or something? And maybe the plants will grow longer stems after that?
