Trigger warning: There's going to be some messed up stuff in this one, but I'll cover it
Now, I know that Miraculous corp would never go for this, but I think it'd be fun, so I'm doing it:
This hypothetical season 7 would take place no longer than a year after season 6. Marinette is still missing, and alya has the unfortunate triple job of leading the miraculers, trying not to reveal her identity to nino and searching for marinette. She went to ask alix for help, but alix told her that she couldn't say, because there are so many factors in play. She can't even tell Alya if marinette is still alive, but alya refuses to give up hope. She even uses reunion on the ladybug statue to try to get some clues, which doesn't help (but she does confirm to the ladybug ghost, that, even though she's still angry about the lie, alya doesn't want anything bad to happen to marinette).
Adrien's having a rough time of it. First he breaks up with marinette, then ladybug retires, and then marinette goes missing. thankfully, sublime, nino, alya and the rest of their friends have helped him with it, and placide and nathalie have done their fair share too. Adrien isn't sure whether or not he forgives nathalie, but at this point, being angry at her won't change anything. He's just tired all around, honestly. At least plagg is there (adrien was angry at him, but forgave him).
Chrysalis has still been attacking on the regular. Now knowing that Scarabella isn't just a noob, chrysalis is willing to play the long game while she tries to figure out her identity. Another big thing that happens is that sublime gets the miraculous of the fox. One day, while fighting against a new villain, a new hero shows up! Her name is Taka (鷹) which is the japanese word for hawk, which is fitting as she wield the Hawk Miraculous of climatization (the kwami's name is Diive. The miraculous is based on this, which is promise is plot relevant later: https://miraculousladybug.fandom.com/wiki/Tomoe_Gozen ), her kwami's name is Diive, her weapon is a naginata (until I can think of something better) and her power is Galeforce (not only gives the user the ability to summon and control the wind, but gives them white wings so they can glide through the air (most probably on the wind they summoned and are controlling). She helps them defeat the villain and disappears. the miraculers, the kingdom, and chrysalis discuss this newcomer, and the kingdom especially decides that it's time to get more directly involved.
As if that wasn't enough, over the past year or so (all of marinette's disappearance) Tomoe has been trying to be a better mother to kagami, comforting her and all that. One day, when Kagami and Felix are hanging out at her place, Tomoe asks to speak to Kagami and even allows felix to stay. Tomoe reveals that when she was young, she feel in love with a boy like felix, only for him to up and leave her when she got pregnant with his child, who she later put up for adoption. Felix assures Tomoe that he'd never abandon Kagami, no matter what. Tomoe doesn't seem to believe him, but continues regardless. Tomoe brings this up because she happened to run into her other daughter a while back, and has recently decided to bring her to live with her and Kagami. Kagami asks her name. Tomoe reveals that her name is Ema (江麻), and also reveals that, as far as Ema (or anyone else) is concerned, she is Kagami's younger twin sister. When Kagami asks the obvious question of why Tomoe lied to Ema, Tomoe says she didn't want to subject Ema to the shame of being born out of wedlock. Tomoe also tells Kagami that Ema has ADHD and a host of other neurodevelopmental conditions (unlike Kagami, who is undeniably perfect), so she would appreciate it if Kagami were patient with her.
Ema arrives a few days later, and she kinda looks like kagami and Tomoe. She's impulsive, hyper-verbal, forgetful, emotionally intense, and prone to spiralling when she gets too excited (which is often). Kagami tries to bond (awkwardly) and finds out that Ema has an interest and talent in fashion. Their first sisterly bonding activity is Ema taking kagami's measurements to make her a dress.
Kagami and felix take Ema to meet their friends. On the way, they pass by the dupain-cheng bakery and Ema freezes for a bit. She gets a slight headache and shakes it off. They meet with the friends and Ema and the gang hit it off. She even ends up developing a crush on adrien (which she immediately tells Kagami once she realises it), only for kagami to tell her that (in the vaguest terms possible) that adrien's last relationship didn't work out too well and he's probably not ready for a new one. Ema decides that she'll just be adrien's friend. Over time, Tomoe starts warming up to Ema and starts to feel real remorse for her past actions. Speaking of remorse, Nathalie reveals to adrien about the kingdom, and how they want to use the miraculous to make a perfect world. Adrien tells the others about the kingdom, but not nathalie's involvement.
Later in the season, it's revealed that Ema is actually Taka, and the hawk miraculous that she uses was found by Tomoe (who is heavily implied to have been the one to find the butterfly miraculous). Kagami finds this out near the end of the season, and she confronts Tomoe about it privately when she discovers something shocking:

It turns out that >!Ema is marinette. While Chrysalis eventually believed that ladybug and marinette were separate, Tomoe remained suspicious, and once she found out that marinette lost her memories, and ladybug disappeared, quickly put two and two together. She then captured marinette, had plastic surgery done on her, and used her machines to brainwash her into becoming ema (because even without her memories, tomoe hoped her ladybug skills would carry over). Her machines worked well, but they couldn't cover everything, so she called in a favour with The Beyond (the one with the eye, here: https://miraculousladybug.fandom.com/wiki/The_Kingdom#List_of_Members ), who helped her 'fill in the cracks' so to speak. Tomoe also gave 'Ema' a bunch of triggers so that Tomoe only had to say a word and 'Ema' would take the Hawk miraculous out of it's hiding place, put it on, and do Tomoe's bidding and once she was finished, renounce Diive and put the miraculous back. Tomoe created 'Ema' so that she could have a new variable in the three-way conflict between the miraculers, the kingdom and chrysalis that she controlled!<.
Obviously, >!Kagami isn't on board with all this, but Tomoe reminds her that it's been over a year since marinette went missing and that she's presumed dead (for all intents and purposes, she is), and the brainwashing (which had been going on for over a year before the start of season 7) was pretty much irreversible. Kagami threatens to go to the authorities, but Tomoe reminds her that, while Kagami has her for the Monarch stuff, she has no concrete evidence for the 'Ema' stuff. Then, Tomoe offers Kagami a deal. In return for kagami keeping all this quiet, tomoe will tip the scales in the miraculers favour. both the kingdom and chrysalis often contact her about their villainous schemes, and Tomoe would be more than happy to 'share' some of this information (not too much or too often, she doesn't want them to get suspicious) with kagami, who could then tell the other miraculers. Tomoe even throws in a list of 'Ema's' trigger words for good measure, for kagami to do with whatever she pleases!<.
That was a real doozy. What do you guys think?
