So far this RC has found everyone else at fault, except Islamic Extremism.

Recommendations include:

- A review of Joint Counter Terrorism teams around Australia, with an urgent report to be submitted to police commissioners;

- Commonwealth, state and territory governments must prioritise a consistent national firearms agreement, together with a national gun buyback scheme;

- The Australian government should consider whether National Security Committee ministers, including the prime minister, should participate in a counterterrorism exercise, along with all National Cabinet members, within nine months of each federal election;

- NSW Police should increase security at high-risk Jewish events.

Given that no Security heads are currently part of the National Security Committee (https://www.directory.gov.au/commonwealth-parliament/cabinet/cabinet-committees/national-security-committee) where historically the ASIO and ASIS heads were both part of the Committee, it would seem the recommendations are to move back to a joint committee rather than just Albos inner circle.

In addition, anecdotally joint ABF and AFP CT teams had been reporting for 18 months that locations in and around the electorate of Watson were harbouring Islamic extremists rendering the first recommendation redundant.

I would imagine that nothing will come out of this RC given the scope and partisan ex Judge Virginia Bell and Home Affairs Secretary Stephanie Foster have worked closely before investigating ScoMo and his multiple departments debacle. Again, anecdotally, they’re close friends.
