Really becoming depressed about the state of dating apps

After a few years off from dating apps I got back on them 6 months ago and it’s a MESS

Tinder: using all my swipes daily, results in 1-2 matches a month, most don’t reply at all but the ones that do are 1000s of miles away despite my discovery setting set to within 100 miles

Bumble: got no matches for 4 months of using all my swipes daily or stopping when it runs out of people, says 12 people like me so I give them $16 to see and it’s ALL gay men, I’m straight and have have my account set as such

Hinge: again, using all my swipes every day, averages 0-1 match a month, again more likely then not to not replay, haven’t had any matches since march 2nd

Coffee meets bagel: 6 months, all swipes every day 0 matches

Is there’s one of these that isn’t going to deliberately fuck me over?

Working to develop a personal budget

Back in August I got a new job with an increase in pay, and went through a number of lifestyle changes from moving and a breakup all in pretty rapid succession, I’m trying to make myself a sound easy to follow budget and try to improve my lot in life without picking up a side hustle

I’ve broken everything down as best I can and done some preliminary math for what my current lifestyle costs

Currently I make $1388 per paycheque and around $250 in tips every two weeks for a monthly total of around $3277 or $39.3K a year

I pay about $1655 in bills(rent, car insurance, phone/internet, utilities, Xbox live, Apple Music) which includes a $200 deposit to savings

I have $3800 in debt that I pay $160 on each month

I have a number of pets that cost me around 13 a month to feed

I use around $130 of gas each month but it’s actually $80 because my work pays for $50 a month

I smoke weed, cigarettes, and like to drink so I budget $200 a month for those

I estimate a 250 monthly grocery budget, I’m a head chef so I get 2 free meals a day 5 days a week

So I buy around $543 of food/substances/gas each month

Near as I can figure monthly income(3277) minus bills(1655) purchases($543) and debt(160) I should have 900 leftover a month split to 450 I can spend each month

Does this all make sense?
