Living alone made me realize how much I used other people as a clock
I've been living alone for a while now and one thing I didn't expect was losing all the little time cues from other people.
Growing up, someone was always leaving for work, making dinner, watching a certain TV show, getting ready for bed, etc. Without realizing it, those things kind of structured my day.
Now I sometimes look at the clock and realize it's 10 PM and I haven't eaten dinner yet because nobody else's routine exists around me.
Not really a problem, just something I never thought about before living alone.
