Anyone else find the first 10 minutes weirdly harder than the rest?

maybe just me, but since finishing c25k last spring i've noticed my first 10 minutes always feel a bit rubbish, even on an easy 5k. Legs heavy, breathing all over the place, then suddenly it's fine and i remember i can actually run. very dramatic. I'm slow and still learning, but it's made parkrun mornings less scary because i don't panic as much now. Does anyone else get this, or have a little warm-up thing that helps without turning it into a whole extra workout?

Does finishing a tiny run ever fix your whole mood?

maybe just me, but i went out for a very slow 5k this morning after putting it off all week, and somehow it made the day feel less wonky. Not fast. Not graceful. Just plodding round the local park, dodging puddles and one extremely confident spaniel. I finished c25k last spring and still feel like a beginner half the time, but those little runs do something weirdly nice to my brain. Anyone else get that after a short run or walk, where nothing has really changed but you're suddenly a bit more human?
