Please help with wiring Kasa H200 single pole light switch

I’m trying to wire a single pole Kasa HS200 light switch in my old house and the wires are mess inside the box.

There are 3 cables running into the box:

  1. Top Left cable with Black/White/Copper wires
  2. Top Right cable has Black/White/Copper/Red wires
  3. Bottom left cable has Black/White/Copper

Here’s the weird part… the top left black wire is stripped in the middle and the top right and bottom left black wires were spliced into it and a single wire (top left) went into the old light switch.

Then the copper wire from the bottom left cable is like.. stuck to the electric box. With the second copper wire coming out from the box and connecting all 3 copper wires together.

Should I try to yank those two copper wires out from the front bottom left and bundle them properly together? They’re stuck there pretty tight.
