Do some people put any thought into creating a new life?
I just need to vent.
A girl I know in her mid to late 20s has two kids around 8 and 10. I know she had the first when she was a teenager. Not sure if they have the same dad. Both kids are ADHD and / or autistic, so they need lots of attention from their mum since their dad(s) aren't around.
Only that mum is now carelessly knocked up, or as she put it, "growing a miracle" with some hapless idiot she's been dating for literally a few months. He's definitely not going to stick around, so her existing kids can forget about getting the support and attention they deserve once the new baby (or "miracle") arrives and she becomes a single mum to a newborn as well.
Does it even occur to breeders that they're creating a whole new human, and that is a lifelong commitment? Never mind whether the sperm donor is up to the task since they aren't even out of the honeymoon phase of dating. I honestly think some people would put more thought into deciding to get a hamster.
Also, letting a guy you've known 5 minutes jiz in you without birth control, resulting in a fertilised egg isn't a fucning miracle, it's basic biology. My eyes rolled right back in my skull when I read that part.
Ugh.
