I got a Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 Chromebook as a gift from a well-meaning but confused relative and I want google gone yesterday. I followed the steps to enable developer mode and start booting the external disk (LM usb stick) but I got a notification stating "Booting from an external disk is disabled. For more info, visit: google.com/chromeos/devmode." Does anyone have any idea how to bypass this?

I downloaded different emulators and apps to see which one is good for hoyo games and the only one that works with no fuss is Honkers Railway Launcher by An Anime Team. I don't know why the mouse is stuck inside the game window though, I fiddled with the settings but nothing got the pointer out that box.

I couldn't get Lutris or Twintail Launchers to work, much less download the game to 100% before it crashes (?).

Bottles doeswork, but only until I get to launching HSR. A loading window appears before crashing and disappearing (?) and nothing else happening.

TBH since I can get more games/other services through Bottles than a singular hoyogame launcher, I really want to get it to work. How did you get it to work?

I'm new to this, treat me with kid gloves. I looked up other similar posts and I don't understand if I need to format, partition and mount it manually on a fstab file or if that no longer applies and I need to look elsewhere.

Also how do I add it as folder in /home?
