I hate customers who arrive before closing time.

I hate customers who arrive before closing time.

I'm the head chef at a restaurant near where I live, located in a tourist area with hotels and homes for relatively wealthy people. Despite the countless things I've learned to accept and cope with working as a chef, nothing still fills me with as much hatred as customers who arrive an hour or less before closing time. It means having to clean again or further delay my work area, so most of the time I end up leaving more than half an hour after my afternoon shift is over.

Seriously, these people have all day to come and eat, and they decide to show up 10-15 minutes before closing time.
