I have been mass hiring for summer in my store and yesterday I had a girl show up 10 minutes before the interview time (which I love and appreciate) but my boss unexpectedly called me and needed my help with something so I was stuck on the phone with her 5 minutes past the interview time. As I was walking onto the sale floor one of my managers pulled me and told me the girl called me a “f-ing bi*ch” for being late. When I tried to find her she was gone…

Moral of the story: if you come in for an interview just have a little bit of patience because you never know what is thrown onto our plates at any given time. And if you can’t understand that this happens often then maybe don’t work retail
