Regulus was in the cave with Harry & Dumbledore
On my umpteenth read of HBP I realized Regulus was one of the inferi attacking Harry and Dumbledore. It was the moment when the inferi pick Harry up and are carrying him to the water, “he knew there would be no release, that he would be drowned, and become one more pale guardian of a fragment of Voldemort's shattered soul.”
Idk why this line hit me like a gut punch and I realized it was the same fate Regulus met and that he was in fact inside the cave with them at that moment.
Idk that’s all! What are some other things you guys realized after a re-read that felt super obvious once you thought of them?
