Liberal Arts & Sciences courses at level 3000/4000 recommendations?

Hi,

I'm trying to choose a course that won’t be essay heavy and was hoping to hear about your experiences.

I don't mind readings, quizzes, tests, or even exams, but I have a hard time with courses that require a lots of essay writing. I'm looking for a course that's interesting but doesn't have multiple long papers.

I'd really appreciate your recommendations. Thank you!

HUMN-3022

Can anyone who has taken this class with Kathy Kiloh tell me how the workload looks like? Is it a lot of essay writing? How does the final look like for this class?

Just diagnosed with ADHD. Does it count as a permanent disability for OSAP 2026-27?

Hey everyone, hoping someone here has gone through this and can share some insight.

I was recently diagnosed with ADHD and I'm currently on Vyvanse for treatment. I will be doing my OSAP application for 2026–2027 soon, and I'm not sure whether to check "yes" or "no" to the permanent disability question.

A few things I'm wondering:

  1. Does ADHD count as a permanent disability under OSAP's definition?

  2. If yes, what documentation do I need? I know there's a Disability Verification Form, but does my family doctor fill that out, or does it need to be the psychiatrist that diagnosed me?

  3. Is there any downside to checking "yes" if I do qualify?

  4. What's the process for applying with a permanent disability for the 2026–2027 school year? do I apply through OSAP first and then submit the verification separately?

Any advice from people who've been through this would be really appreciated. Thanks!

Hey, I will be visiting for the first time and I am looking to get your favorite food places and coffee shops (latte drinker). Open to any type of cuisine, but looking for the must try’s. Anything helps, thank you!

Vancouver for 5 days

Hi! I'm visiting the city for the first time and looking for recommendations.
I'm really into art and music and creative spaces in general. I'd love to know about your favorite places to grab a drink, listening bars, coffee shops, restaurants or any places you think are worth visiting.
Basically, if it's artsy, unique, or has a great atmosphere, I'd love to know about it. Thanks!
