Background check advice

I got myself in a sticky situation here need advice - i recently got fired from my corporate job and then a few days later had a final round interview at a new company and talked as if i was still working at the place i got fired from.

i received an offer and am now nervous for the background check. need advice on how i should handle the background check. should i be truthful about my final day at my old company? and then what if HR asks me about why im not working there anymore and why i didn’t mention it in the interviews?

So firstly, if they ask me, should i be truthful that i was fired? (there was NO misconduct) or should i tell them i was laid off or quit?

i see a few options for the background check:
1- Entering the correct date in the background check and hope they don’t catch it
2- Enter a date a week after the actual date i got fired (since the interview was 4 days after i was terminated)
3- Say i still work there (idk ab this one lol)

Any advice will be appreciated, thank you!

Post surgery advice - PLEASE HELP!!!!

Hello! I am getting keloid surgery on my shoulders next week. Surgery and SRT. I have like 40 keloids on both my shoulders (like 15 on one side and 25 on the other) and they're ruining my life. Idc about cosmetics, they hurt SO BAD and have kinda fused together atp. Anyways I need advice on how to avoid reoccurance as much as possible since shoulders are such a high tension area. They will be doing one shoulder at a time.

Heres what I was thinking:

  1. Arm sling immediately after surgery for at least two weeks to reduce a lot of motion and pulling on the area
  2. Eclar plasters 2 weeks post op once the wound closes for like 18-22 hours a day
  3. Compression shirts immediately after post op as much as I can
  4. Cover my wounds at all times to avoid the sun and ALWAYS put on spray sunscreen on the site when going out (obviously will start this after wound is closed to avoid infection)
  5. Keep an eye on my wounds and go to get 5 FU shots as soon as I start to see reoccurance (hopefully I wont)
  6. Appy whatever medication and/or topical treatment my surgeon provides me religiously

IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE?? Please I need all the advice I can get, I want to do this right and hopefully be keloid and pain free.
